Oriole Capital Group, a US-based specialty aviation investment firm, announced that in parallel with the recent acquisition of GDC Technics, Oriole Capital Group’s Brad Foreman will be appointed Chief Executive Officer of GDC. Foreman begins his assignment at the Fort Worth, Texas-based completions and modifications center immediately.
“Brad led our team’s due diligence of GDC and became more and more impressed with the company as the process matured,” said Oriole Capital Group Managing Partner, Hossein Mousavi. “Given the breadth of Brad’s diverse background that ranges from avionics to directing the one of the largest P2F conversion programs in history, it’s clearly a great fit to have him lead the new GDC Technics,” he added.
GDC, a recognized leader in VVIP modification services with recent high-profile contract wins, has additional capabilities in design, composite/structural engineering and certification at the company’s
1.2M square feet of hangar space in Fort Worth and San Antonio, Texas.
“The scale and breadth of services at GDC is ideal for today’s market and it’s a privilege to lead the new GDC as we begin to leverage the company’s unique capabilities,” said Brad Foreman. “With the capacity to handle 6 wide body aircraft at our main facility and services from composite engineering to avionics to bespoke design – we’re in a great position to offer one-stop efficiency to GDC customers.”
Prior to his appointment as GDC’s new CEO, Mr. Foreman held various leadership roles at Thales Aerospace leading initiatives from in-flight entertainment to flight deck avionics and advanced mission systems for both commercial and military programs. Prior to Thales, Mr. Foreman held roles at the Boeing Company, and began his interest and career in aviation as a naval aviator.
